Description

Hunting demons, outwitting an exorcist witch, and fending off the reaper that's trying to eat her soul -- just a normal day for Ella Grey. SERIES IS COMPLETE!

Demon patrol officer Ella Grey was pronounced dead after an accident on the job. Eighteen minutes later she woke up on a gurney bound for the morgue. But she didn't return to the living alone. The soul of a reaper followed her back from the grave, and it's not just along for the ride. The reaper gives her glimpses of the brother she feared was dead, but it's also trying to use her for its morbid work. The reaper could be her biggest ally in her battle for her brother, if it doesn't eat her soul first.

Perfect for fans of Kim Harrison, Seanan McGuire, Patricia Briggs, Ilona Andrews, and Jim Butcher!

A very interesting story. How many people die and come back 18 minutes later to life? What kind of changes do you think occur to the person and their life? In this book, Ella had this happen to her. Ella is an unusual person as she is a demon patrol officer. She has been on leave for a short period and is now slated to go back to work. Ella get a new partner, Damian Stein. Ella is low level magic but Damian is level three. There is lots of action, mystery , some budding romance and humor. Meet Ella’s dog a very unusual dog named, Loki. What starts out as demon hunting has turned into something more. There plot twists but it is a really good book!
