Years in the making, Sarah J. Maas's #1 New York Times bestselling Throne of Glass series draws to an epic, unforgettable conclusion. Aelin Galathynius's journey from slave to king's assassin to the queen of a once-great kingdom reaches its heart-rending finale as war erupts across her world. . .

Aelin has risked everything to save her people-but at a tremendous cost. Locked within an iron coffin by the Queen of the Fae, Aelin must draw upon her fiery will as she endures months of torture. Aware that yielding to Maeve will doom those she loves keeps her from breaking, though her resolve begins to unravel with each passing day…

With Aelin captured, Aedion and Lysandra remain the last line of defense to protect Terrasen from utter destruction. Yet they soon realize that the many allies they've gathered to battle Erawan's hordes might not be enough to save them. Scattered across the continent and racing against time, Chaol, Manon, and Dorian are forced to forge their own paths to meet their fates. Hanging in the balance is any hope of salvation-and a better world.

And across the sea, his companions unwavering beside him, Rowan hunts to find his captured wife and queen-before she is lost to him forever.

As the threads of fate weave together at last, all must fight, if they are to have a chance at a future. Some bonds will grow even deeper, while others will be severed forever in the explosive final chapter of the Throne of Glass series.

I started reading this book from the moment it became available on that October night, and only finished it now. This book made me cry so many times, and I could probably write 1000 pages myself about the feminist journey it takes the reader on. I’m so sad that it’s over, but so glad I was a witness to it. I’m very much looking forward to reading Maas’s other series now, as well. This is a heavy book- both literally in girth, and emotionally. If you’re anything like I am and spend some of your day at work reading, you may want to reconsider for this final volume. I found the experience much better from the comfort of my bed, a warm cup of coffee and my partner’s comfort only an arms reach away. This book will make you smile, too, however. This series has helped to heal holes in my own heart, and for that I am grateful. Please take the time to read through the Acknowledgments, too. Love and light always, Krys
  • Just Amazing!!!!!!! Great finale to the series

There is just so many relationships built and everything feels right in the end. Of course we lose some beautiful people and it’s not a perfecting ending, but no story should have a perfect ending. Not everyone’s griefs and sorrows were washed away, but that’s what gives you the feels and the attachments and the love for everyone. NOX OWEN IS BACK BTW. There are so many gut wrenching scenes but u know *blinks 4 times* I LOVE THIS BOOK PLEASE READ!!!!! AELIN IS MY BABE AND I WILL ETERNALLY LAUGH AT LORD LORCAN LOCHAN

What a way to bring this series to its conclusion! I’ve read ALL her books and It only started because my 12 yr. old niece asked me to read this book with her (5) years ago. Little did I know I would end up reading EVERY book Sarah J. has written, and this coming from a (68) yr. old uncle. I can’t wait to continue along this author’s journey for many years to come. Thanks Sarah J.- for all your enlightenment and enjoyment my niece and I have gotten to experience together. 👏👏👏🌟👊😍 Uncle J.- Cincy Kid 68!

At first I did not want to read KoA because I did not want it to end. Then as soon as I started reading it, I couldn’t stop. It was written so well, and each page i was guessing what was to come next. I truly cannot believe this was the last book, the last thoughts of Aelin and Rowan. Aelin is a true hero, and I’ll miss her crazy plans and her smartness, but also the deep moments where i cried in class then read the same page for 20 minutes just to capture it all.I love this series, and while I’m sad that there won’t be new books to the series, I’m happy with the ending. The series is full of plot twists and Heart break and love. I would 20/10 recommend to everyone. But I know what ever SJM will do next, it will be amazing. So thank you to the series for such an amazing strong female lead, and leaving an imprint on everyone. Let’s got rattle the starts✨

I’ve loved the Throne of Glass series from the moment that I discovered it, which was sometime after the first book came out. Unlike many other series that I’ve read, I really felt that these books just got better with each release. This final book actually made me cry in a couple places, the scenes were so touching. Though I’m sad that it’s all over, I am thoroughly satisfied with how the story was left in the end. I look forward to reading it all again from the beginning.
  • Finally

After all this time. I’d do it all over again in a second. A truly magical series that I thoroughly enjoyed. Makes me very sad it’s coming to an end but the ride as worth it.

There are few words to describe this series and it’s ending. With each page read you became more connected to to the characters as if you were right there with them experiencing it all first hand. Thank you for this amazing read.
