NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • From two survivors of the Parkland, Florida, shooting comes a declaration for our times, and an in-depth look at the making of the #NeverAgain movement.
On February 14, 2018, seventeen-year-old David Hogg and his fourteen-year-old sister, Lauren, went to school at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, like any normal Wednesday. That day, of course, the world changed. By the next morning, with seventeen classmates and faculty dead, they had joined the leadership of a movement to save their own lives, and the lives of all other young people in America. It's a leadership position they did not seek, and did not want--but events gave them no choice.

The morning after the massacre, David Hogg told CNN: "We're children. You guys are the adults. You need to take some action and play a role. Work together. Get over your politics and get something done."

This book is a manifesto for the movement begun that day, one that has already changed America--with voices of a new generation that are speaking truth to power, and are determined to succeed where their elders have failed. With moral force and clarity, a new generation has made it clear that problems previously deemed unsolvable due to powerful lobbies and political cowardice will be theirs to solve. Born just after Columbine and raised amid seemingly endless war and routine active shooter drills, this generation now says, Enough. This book is their statement of purpose, and the story of their lives. It is the essential guide to the #NeverAgain movement.

Total waste of valuable time. No facts, all false assumptions and accusations
  • It’s was ok

The book felt very rushed. Other then that it wasn’t terrible. I feel really bad for anyone who lived through an ordeal like this and I could only empathize because I’ve never been in the same situation. However I wish this wasn’t only sold through apple. It should have been sold through multiple news outlets. If you really want people to read this then it should be a lot cheaper.

  • Surviver ?

How does he declare to be a surviver of the shooting when he wasn’t ever at school that day ? It’s the same if I missed my flight and the plane crashed , then I started announcing I survived the plane crash ! Don’t get me wrong , those students at the school suffered unimaginable horrors .... everyone at school that day should be insulted by this kid profiting off this horrific day .
  • Seriously folks?

Is anyone going to support this bully? You know who else wrote a manifesto? The Unibomber. Think about it....
  • Holy exploitation!! Shut this kid up

    By Sweethead
Hogg, you should not be the face of this movement. You do not have the humility or likability for the role. You come across as self promoting and detestable.
  • I might read this but for the typo in the ad.

This guy has been caught in so many lies. He is standing on the bodies of these teens to promote an agenda that will only put the country in more danger. Have fun wasting your money!
  • Dispicable

He wasn’t even at the school when the shooting occurred and yet he screams about his trauma
  • Clear attack of the 2nd Amendment

This is a clear attack on the 2nd Amendment. David Hogg wasn’t even at the school when this tragic event happened. He is nothing but a puppet for the anti-gun lobby. BOYCOTT THIS TRAITOR.
